Hi! STEP 1 (pic 1) Bill of material: BITS AND BOBS Check out bits and bobs picture. THINGS YOU WILL NEED: * 3D Printer * Sharp snap knife * Loctite superglue * Clear silicone * Silicone gun * 100m Glow in the dark filament STEP 2 (pic 2 & 2.1) Cleaning, Gluing & Jigging!!! OK if you're one with your 3D printer, you may find the next step will be easier for you than it was for me. Since cold weather has come in, I and my printer haven't been seeing eye to eye!!! Here's how to do it: 1. With your knife, clean all edges, making sure there are no blobs on the corners. 2. Apply superglue along one of the long edges (not the bottom edge). 3. Grab another segment and place it in the jig, holding the glued side to the new segment until dry. 4. Keep adding segments to the jig until the shape is made. 5. Rinse and repeat until you have 11 sections like you see in the picture. STEP 3 (pic 3) Setting up & more GLUING!!! 1. Place five of your newly made segments together and apply glue; wait for 10 minutes, then apply more!!! 2. Repeat again so you have two large halves. 3. Interlock the two large halves together and apply more glue, leaving it to dry for 15 minutes. STEP 4 (pic 4) Last segment & sealing up 1. Add your last segment to the top of the star and glue it in place; wait for five minutes. 2. Your star might have gaps where the segments have joined so apply a thin amount of clear silicone. I would advise you ask for help to hold the star as it's very light in weight. Depending on your brand of silicone, leave it to dry for at least 10 hours. STEP 5 (pic 5) Printing fixtures. Adding fixture!!! LAST STEP!!!! 1. Place a loose-fit block onto a light fixture as seen in the picture. 2. Apply glue to blocks and stick them to the top as shown in the picture. Once dry, the light fixture should pivot back and forth, allowing easy access to the bulb. 3. Fit around the rose of the light bulb, and you're done. I hope you guys enjoyed this! It was real fun making it. My son loves the light; he now calls it "the magic light."
