Glow in the Dark Ceiling art
thingiverse
Christmas is just around the corner, and with my shiny new 3D printer by my side, I need to convince my wife that it's worth every penny. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a pre-made bundle online that met my exact needs, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. To get the most out of the glow-in-the-dark PLA filament I've got, I discovered that you really need a decent thickness to make it work its magic. As a beginner, I experimented with Tinkercad and tweaked the settings until I was happy with the results. I specified 4mm, but in reality, my prints come out at around 3.5mm - still pretty sweet, if I do say so myself! With about 20-30% infill, you'll get a great balance of glow-in-the-dark goodness and structure. If anyone has some expert tips or can help me modify these designs to make them even better, please chime in! This is my first project, and every bit of advice counts.
