Glow Cup

This cup is engineered specifically for mounting onto an ice flasher and wrapping LED strip lights around it to recharge glowing lures and jigs. The switch that gets fitted into the front of the cup is a 1/2" x 3/4" mini switch, widely available from various online sources. A spool of 18 awg, 2-conductor wire was used for the electrical connections. Waterproof UV LED strip lights were selected and cut to length so they could be wrapped around the cup twice. The cup comes equipped with a mounting system designed specifically for the Vexilar ultra base, the Marcum LX5 (or similar models), and the Humminbird Helix Ice. To mount this setup on digital Marcums like the Marcum, use either the Marcum mount or the Helix mount. For mechanical Marcums such as the LX3 and LX5, the transducer arm must be moved to the left in order to clear space for mounting the glow cup on the right side. A spacer is used alongside the Marcum mount on these models to further improve clearance.
