Glove Pattern, Hand Shape Demo From My 3D Grid Print
thingiverse
I'm experimenting with a glove template made from my 1cm grid on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3262373. Using the sketch tool in Orchard, I'm translating traced points into the 3D scene: https://3dorchard.com/app/single/5879a0e269a7a70bad75d169/5c2e60280bb08b0bc94dca0f. My goal is to create a leather glove template that will eventually be expanded for seams and hole locations, and I'll also figure out how to handle the thumb. Maybe an NPC will rise from the dead and lend a hand, but I'm not holding my breath! The Orchard sketch tool allows me to draw on any plane or directly in space. It's great for creating geometries quickly and accurately, thanks to its constraint tools.
