I was getting frustrated with a heap of statuses scattered across the board, each one tied to its own unique standee that I had to constantly move around just to keep track of them. Plus, it was a real pain to have to flip back and forth between the monster stat sheet and the board itself to see what statuses were affixed to which numbered monster. These token holders are designed to change all that by keeping each status right where you can see it - on the map itself.
