My revamped design for Gloomhaven bases now incorporates openlock clips in a way that enables all 6 sides to connect seamlessly, eliminating previous limitations of only 2 clips on opposite sides or a 3 hex piece with restricted connection directions. After several experimental iterations and considerable consternation, I've finally achieved the desired room and snugness for optimal clip connectivity. As a result, hex designs can be combined in various shapes from any of the six directions, forming one solid piece that remains intact even when subjected to vigorous shaking or dropped from small heights. With my single design now perfected, I'll begin modifying the tops with intricate textures and other exciting flooring features to mirror the Gloomhaven game's unique aesthetic.
