This is a magazine spring for use in glock18style mag.  This should NOT be fully compressed or it will over stress.  I have used it reliably with 10 rounds without over stressing it. Not recommended to leave rounds in the mag. (note: picture is of the g26 version also with the same spring except modified for appropiate length)
