Glock Carbine kit (Airsoft)
thingiverse
Yet another carbine kit. Made from high-quality ABS and precision-crafted in an Acetone vapor bath, this kit is a true masterpiece of modern manufacturing techniques. This project was a collaborative effort between myself and Sebastian Viking-Bengt Simmons. I'd like to take a moment to recognize Seb's significant contribution to this endeavor, as he played a crucial role in bringing it to life. Important note: You are not permitted to sell either the original design or any printed copies of this kit. However, you're more than welcome to print it for your own enjoyment or have me print one for you. To assemble the kit, please refer to the comprehensive instructions included with the download. A list of required hardware is outlined below: - 2 x M4 nuts for securing the rear stock mount - 2 x M4 40mm screws (verified to work) for the rear stock mount - 1 x M3 40mm screw for the charging handle - 1 x M3 30mm screw for the lower body's front attachment point - 1 x M3 25mm screw for the lower body's rear attachment point - 2 x M3 nuts for securing the lower body - 1 x M3 40mm screw for locking the upper body (Glock rail) - 1 x M3 nut for securing the upper body (Glock rail) - 9 x 6x7/16 black framing screws for the rails (optional, dependent on printer capabilities) I've included the main body in two separate sections to accommodate smaller printers. If needed, I can also split the top rail into two parts for easier printing. A minimum of a 200mm printer is required. For optimal results, use PETG, ABS, or HIPS filament. PLA+ may also work well, but be aware that it might not perform as well in hot environments. For those planning to print the main body in two pieces, I recommend using ABS for easier soldering with Acetone vapor bath. Compatibility: This kit is designed for TM G17, WE G17/G18C, and KWC G17 models, but it may also fit other brands. Please let me know if you have any success or failures with different models. Note: The slide release access is not necessary. When the magazine empties, simply insert a new one and pull on the charging handle to release it. If you'd like to show your appreciation for this project, a tip would be greatly appreciated. ***************************************************** Important Printer Height Requirements: * A 400mm printer height is required for printing in one piece. * If printing in two pieces, a minimum of 200mm printer height is necessary.
