Glock 43 (SS80 Rail System)
thingiverse
READ THIS CAREFULLY This is a re-creation of the original Glock 43SS80, completely redesigned to meet my specific needs. I intend to use this as my primary everyday carry (EDC) firearm, which is why there's a designated space for a serial number. Key features include textured side grips, trigger guard undercut, and thumb rest cuts for both right- and left-handed users. Additionally, there's a location for inserting a stainless steel plate to display the serial number. If you don't want to use a steel plate, simply print one (template included) or apply supports instead. The final picture shows where I placed support blockers; specifically, the coordinates are X -60.3465, Y 0, Z 63 and scale settings are X 35.1906, Y 13.7822, Z 10. Print settings include a 65% support density and disabling the roof and floor supports. I've also added a script to display layer numbers on your LCD screen during printing; layer 523 is where you should insert the SN plate. This design closely resembles the SS80 Glock 43 and seamlessly integrates with the SS80 rail system. For optimal results, print this design on a glass bed using glue stick. To enhance adhesion, apply glue stick to the stainless steel or printed plate before resuming printing. Please note that this is for educational purposes only; I won't be held responsible for misuse or any other issue resulting from your actions. It's essential to follow all legal guidelines and obtain a custom serial number through the DOJ before using this design.
