This model is as the name states- a Glock 19 Umarex Slide and Magazine Release Replica Customization Kit. This model is fully functional with a Glock 19 Umarex Airsoft pistol, and possibly other airsoft handguns. This is modeled down to the hundredth millimeter of precision, so you can be sure it will fit without having to modify anything. The print is simple- • .12 mm layer heights for maximum quality and a smooth fitting. • Supports are necessary, as the slide should be printed upside down with the sights against the bed for the best result. • The magazine release trigger should be printed on its side, with supports that can be removed after. • I used 20% infill and it was decently sturdy and worked perfectly. Although you may want to print at a higher infill in case you drop the slide so it will not crack. • Do not use a raft for bed adhesion. At this layer height, the raft will stick to the part being printed and you will have an exceedingly difficult time attempting to remove the print. Instead, use a skirt. • Printing speed I used was 80mm/s, although you may use whatever speed you like. To replace the magazine release, you must remover the slide (a single screw), and then proceed to remove all screws on the body of the Glock that holds the two sides together. Once you separate the two halves, remove the existing release button, and replace it with your new printed one. Do not forget to put the spring back inside your new button. Using a small of some sort (screwdriver, toothpick, etc.), push the magazine button outward towards the handle of the Glock, so it does not move when you put the other half of the Glock body back on. Then, screw the body into place with all the screws. Next, put your printed slide in place of the old one and screw it in with the last screw. Congrats!
