Glock 17 barrel with outer riffling

I fell deeply in love with the exceptional Glock 17 replica by Eight_Props (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2284125). Nonetheless, I really wanted a more eye-catching barrel instead. So, I've added a 1 mm deep external riffling, twisting 180 degrees down the barrel. Since I also find that the internal riffling is somewhat too subtle, at least on my printer, I will be making a version with more pronounced grooves soon. I've had the best results printing the barrel parallel to the print bed with supports. Thanks to Eight_Props for the incredible model. Update December 2017 So, I finally got around to designing, testing and uploading the amazing Glock 17 barrel with both a decorative outer riffling and a more pronounced inner riffling than that of the original file. If you print with support inside the barrel, these are extremely hard to remove due to the rougher surface provided by the riffling.
