Globe Theatre Model The Globe Theatre model is a recreation of the iconic London theatre linked to William Shakespeare's productions. It was built in 1599 by Shakespeare's own performing company, the Lord Chamberlain's Men, who lost their original home due to a devastating fire on June 29th, 1613. Less than a year later, a new Globe Theatre emerged on the same site and functioned until it ceased operations in 1642. A cutting-edge replica of the original theatre, known as Shakespeare's Globe, opened in 1997 at a precise location 230 meters from where the historic venue once stood. The model itself features detailed designs inspired by historical research, offering an authentic glimpse into London's rich theatrical heritage.
