Globe Light Shade

This is a reworked version of George Hart's polyhedron model: http://www.georgehart.com/rp/rp.html. Using Microsoft 3D Paint, I added a reinforced opening that can be used to attach the globe to a swag lamp-style fixture. In this instance, I designed two washers: one for internal use and another for external placement. Each washer is compatible with standard lamp rod fittings, enabling the globe to be easily attached to any conventional lamp base. To project the intricate beehive patterns throughout the room, I employed a small halogen bulb.
