Glide Junior Kayak Drain Plug (Tadpole)
thingiverse
This is a plug for a drain hole in a "Glide" junior kayak sold in Australia, specifically the model "tadpole". I suspect other "Glide" kayaks may use identical plugs, but you're on your own with that. The threads match perfectly with the "tadpole junior series" drain plug, and the rim seats an ad-hoc gasket into place between the plug and the boat body nicely. Adding more axial length to the "gear-tooth" grip finger tightening features could be useful. This 3D file prints perfectly in alloy 910 (nylon) as-is. You should be able to print it without additional support or a raft, unless you're having printer or plastic issues. The included .STL configuration should work just fine. Keep in mind that ABS rots in sunlight due to UV degradation. Also, keep in mind that you'll have to make your own gasket - either steal an O-ring from something else or chop up an old sheet of sturdy rubber if designing/printing something in TPE sounds too irritating...
