Large area of exposed rock face visible on private farmland at Gled Law, situated approximately 1500 meters west-northwest of West Horton in Northumberland. This prominent outcropping measures roughly 11 meters by 6 meters and stands out among the surrounding vegetation. Historical records for this site date back to the mid-19th century when Tate documented and illustrated motifs that have since worn away. Just over a hundred years later, Stan Beckensall identified four separate areas of carving. Registered as 'Gled Law 4' in the Beckensall Archive, the site was added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=75 Historic England has listed this site: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1006558 This model depicts one of the carved areas, created from a single stereo pair captured by Kevin Malloy in May 2007. The imagery is part of the NADRAP / ERA archive.
