The Gleaves-class destroyers, a group of 66 vessels in the United States Navy, were constructed between 1938 and 1942. This model is highly detailed, featuring numerous animatable elements such as guns and turrets, anti-aircraft Bofors, 20mm cannons, davits, whaleboats, hatches, propellers, and rudders. Flags can be easily added and animated, while anchors can be moved with the addition of anchor chains. Handrails, ladders, and hatches are visible throughout the model, which also includes life rafts that can be launched.
