Glasses pencil holder
pinshape
As I tackle DIY projects, I've become increasingly reliant on reading glasses to get the job done. However, those specs often got in the way of my trusty pencil trick - placing a writing instrument behind my ear for easy access. Seeking a better solution, I designed a simple clip that fits over my glasses, securely holding a standard 8mm pencil in place. This design excels when printed with high infill settings to ensure maximum strength. The entire process took approximately 40 minutes on my UpPlus2 printer. For added versatility, three distinct designs are available - one featuring a slightly longer pencil holder for those who prefer a bit more room to maneuver.
