Decided to break out the 0.2mm nozzle, which had yet to be used. Printed at a layer height of 0.4mm with all walls enabled, thanks to Cura's settings where I adjusted the number of walls to around 40. Found that printing faster was the way to go for me, so I maxed out the print speed and managed to get five or six of these prints done in just a few minutes. Experimented with different feed rates, trying to pack as much material into the clear parts to reduce opacity, but when it came down to it, there was no noticeable difference between 90% and 115%. If you print too slowly, the lingering head will keep the last part, complete with its hole, too hot and it will deform. Reducing layer time isn't a good option for the same reason, and lifting the head in Cura to wait on the side only creates a stringing mess (at least, that's been my experience). It seems to work best when you let it get on with the print before it has a chance to deform. Might also work well with TPU or similar flexible materials, but I've only got black on hand and didn't want it plastered all over my face. Probably not as strong as the originals, but easily replaceable and quick to print. Remixed this one because the original design was a bit too chunky for my taste.
