Glasses leash with printed flex ends and a flex filament cord. The pictured set are in Ninjaflex but I have also printed them in other TPUs. Thread a suitable length of filament through them then use a soldering iron or flame to form a dimple on the end so that they are retained in the ends.

The design is for an arm with an end section 12mm x 3mm but it can be scaled in the slicer to fit other arm sizes.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

i3 MK2.5

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.15mm but not critical

Infill:

No

Filament:
Ninjaflex TPU or other Flex/semi flex

Notes:

I print using standard PLA settings but increase the extruder temperature to 220C and then run the printer at half speed (or set it to 20mm/sec). Otherwise print one at a time and there will be nothing to string to.

Category: Glasses
