Glasses Holder

Glasses Holder

Saw a similar sunglasses holder recently and couldn't find it, so I decided to create my own. This design took about an hour to complete with all its derivatives. It was specifically designed for use with 3M Command Hook strips instead of screws. I used small poster strips with a maximum weight capacity of one pound. When adding heavier glasses, I had to add cut-up strips to the horizontal beam. You could use any type of Command Hooks strip, tape, or adhesive to stick them; just be aware of the weight limits. The 3M Command Hook website lists weight limits at http://www.command.com/3M/en_US/command/hooks-strips/product-weight-limits/. The adhesive area is 15.6 mm wide x 27 mm long. Uno is designed for one to two frames, Duo is on its way, Trio can hold three to four frames, and Party size will be determined later. Post-Printing The Command Hook Strip First, use what you have and stick it in place. The models accommodate items that fit within the 15.6 mm wide x 27 mm long adhesive area. I used small Command Poster Strips. A pull tab is optional. How This Was Designed Onshape I can make this project public on Onshape if people ask.
