I have a pair of glasses that I wear in front of my computer monitors at home every day. They were made by Zenni Optical, a company known for its high-quality eyewear. Unfortunately, the glasses broke, leaving me with a broken pair to repair. When I took a closer look, I noticed a central metal section with clip-on plastic parts attached to it - one of which had cracked beyond repair. I decided to take matters into my own hands and design replacement parts by using 3D printing technology to create custom-shaped rings that would perfectly fit onto the metal frame, as well as new temple pieces to complete the repair.
