I misplaced my glasses but had a spare pair, so I removed the lenses from that one and refurbished the frame. The lenses clicked into place by pressure alone, although this is not a secure way to attach them - there are several options for securing them more firmly. The tiny "legs" of the frame are held onto the main structure with a 3x10mm grub screw. To give the frame a more authentic shape, I used heat to bend it in the middle and on the legs. Version 2 has a slimmer design, with lenses that press-fit into place.
