Glass Sword (Skyrim)

This is a design I crafted based on the Glass Sword from Skyrim. I created it utilizing 123d Design. It is divided into 14 pieces, 13 if you opt not to utilize the decorative handle. The 6 components that comprise the handle fit snugly without any adhesive. To enhance stability, I incorporated a 10mm shaft running through the part. I employed a 12" metal rod in the handle to add some weight and a dowel rod for the remainder of it. All except two sections of the blade measure 200mm in length. The blades are printed at 15% infill without support, while the handle and end crystal were printed at 15% with support for angles of 60 degrees or less due to the crystal not printing correctly during the first attempt. Due to its design, you must bond the two sides of the blade sections together initially before bonding them to the dowel rod and the subsequent section. I recommend using a clamp to hold the sides in place while the adhesives/epoxy dry.
