Glass Strut Connection

In our design for a Glass Bridge at the University of Technologie Delft's campus, steel is utilized internally to withstand tension forces while glass handles compressive forces. Hinged connections prevent bending moments that might exceed glass's capacity. As third-year students, we will produce and test these hybrid glass/steel struts (as per SketchUp figures).
