To enhance 3D-printing efficiency, I focused on an Octahedron shape that requires no support during the manufacturing process. However, due to time constraints, a stress calculation couldn't be done as the computer would take days for processing. If possible, kindly perform the stress optimization based on this idea. My next goal is to adjust the thickness of the Octahedron edges according to the stress levels. Thinner edges will be in areas that need less reinforcement while thicker ones in areas requiring more. Alternatively, a larger Octahedron shape could be filled with smaller ones where extra strength is necessary, using a single printable wall thickness. The only variation would be the amount of structural beams. I hope this information aids your project further. For convenience, I've zipped a STEP file (40MB unzipped) that's too large to upload otherwise. It's stored in an accessible location: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mojfhsd614sh4rj/Bearing_Bracket_Assy.SLDPRT?dl=0
With this file you will be able to print Glass slipper with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Glass slipper.
