This is a shelf bracket designed specifically for creating glass shelves within a window frame, perfect for showcasing plants or other items. It's engineered to securely hold a 5-inch wide piece of glass in place. Important Details: 1. When measuring the glass for cutting, ensure it's 1 inch shorter than the required length so that the glass sits flush within the bracket. 2. The subtle indents in the design are intentionally included for applying glue, allowing you to make these shelves permanent if desired. If not using glue, these indents can be safely ignored, as they're only .1mm deep. 3. The mounting holes for securing the shelf to a wall are countersunk and measure 5mm in diameter, accommodating most drywall screws or similar fasteners. 4. The type of glass used for this design is readily available at local hardware stores. I opted for .092 inch thick glass; using the same thickness will ensure the half-inch end stop on the bracket sits flush with the glass.
