Glass scraper (for SB 45 blades)
thingiverse
I'm looking for a replacement for the SB 45 glass scraper from Tetra that's more suited to my needs. The existing one has a tube that's too flexible, too short and features an angle on the blade that doesn't quite cut it for me. With this new design, I'm able to tackle my tight overflow chamber with ease. To create your own version of this scraper, you'll need the original blade - Tetra sells these in packs of three for around 3-4 euros. You'll also require an aluminium tube measuring one metre long and featuring a ten-millimetre outer diameter along with a one-millimetre wall thickness. Additionally, two to three M4 screws are needed, each approximately four to six millimetres long and made from either V2A/V4A or plastic. The tube can be securely fastened using an additional M4 screw if desired, but in my case, it fits perfectly without one. I've opted for PETG, although PLA should also work as a suitable material.
