Glass Print Bed Rack - Borosilicate
thingiverse
I prefer using borosilicate glass plates to print on, as they offer a smooth and even surface. To accommodate different materials, I also experiment with various surface coverings. As a result, I've accumulated multiple glass plates in both 1/8 inch (3.3mm) and 1/4 inch (6.6mm) thicknesses. This holder/rack was designed to allow them to dry or cool at their own pace, or simply remain ready for use. The slots are specifically sized to fit one plate of either dimension comfortably. If desired, two 1/8 inch plates can be accommodated in a single slot by allowing the surfaces to touch each other. To make it easier to distinguish between front and back, as well as provide stability, I've included front and back "feet" on the design. This feature is particularly useful when working with coated plates. The holder is designed to accommodate 6x9 inch glass plates effectively. To add extra weight and durability, I printed this item at a 40% infill setting. So far, it has worked well for my needs.
