Glass Offset Tricky Clippy
thingiverse
To create space for 3.3mm thick glass on the HBP using printed plastic part instead of glass, follow these steps. Firstly, print a designed part with 20% fill and 0 extra shells. Stop the printing process at 70%, as it doesn't need to be too long. Measure the thickness of the "top" and sand it until it's slightly less than your glass thickness. Next, attach the printed part onto the plywood at the location where Z-axis limit switch makes contact during the "home axes" routine. Use forceps if needed for a firm press. Cautiously go about homing the axes for the first time with the glass on. Adjust the nuts to crank down on the glass slightly for better support.
