I create a unique high-polygon glass design to achieve maximum randomness on its surface, giving it a natural look. It's particularly useful for creating caustics effects. Results depend heavily on your chosen render engine, so feel free to experiment with different engines to get the best results I've personally used Cycles in conjunction with the denoiser and had great success.
