Glass Filter Cases
thingiverse
I designed a compact plastic case for stacking multiple filters securely. My goal was to create something portable and lightweight, perfect for backpacking with my trusty Intrepid 4x5 camera. The design is straightforward - two cylindrical components that fit together with an optional slot for securing a rubber band. I discovered that without this cutout, the rubber bands tend to slip off. To resolve this issue, I incorporated the slot into the design. The case was created using FreeCAD software, and I've included the source files for anyone looking to make further modifications or improvements.
