First, a glass cutter is used to score the surface of the glass where it needs to be cut. Then, the glass cutting pliers, which have a flat, curved jaw to apply even pressure, are positioned over the score line. Gently squeezing the pliers causes the glass to break cleanly along the score. The adjustable screw on the pliers allows for setting the proper width to avoid excessive pressure, ensuring a smooth, precise break. These tools are essential for glasswork, ensuring accuracy and minimizing waste.
