Replacing the original heated bed on my Anet A6 3D printer requires a gentle touch to prevent damage and ensure a precise fit for the new 5mm glass sheet. Start by carefully removing any obstructions or debris from the bed's surface, paying particular attention to the area where the new glass will be placed. Next, locate the screws that hold the heated bed in place and remove them using a screwdriver, taking care not to strip the threads. Once the bed is free, gently lift it away from the printer and set it aside. Now, take the 5mm glass sheet and position it directly on top of the metal bed's heat plate, ensuring it is centered and evenly spaced. Secure the glass in place using the original screws, tightening them firmly but avoiding over-tightening that could cause damage to the glass or the printer's frame. Finally, reconnect any cables or wiring that may have been disconnected during the process, and plug in your Anet A6 to begin a test print to verify the new glass is seated properly and functioning as intended.
