Glass Clip, heatbed, openSCAD

The file has been updated to include four clips and positioned them correctly for printing. The default values in the .scad have also been altered due to the holes in the aluminum bed being a bit too large for the screws. It's worth noting that making the holes in the clip too big will result in a less stable structure, so it's best to keep them snug. The size of the glass clip varies depending on the bed and glass size you're working with. This script is designed to be customizable, with the following variables available: z = 15; // total height edge_skirt_h = 5; edge_skirt_t = 2; glass_t = 3; // glass thickness glass_space = 18/2; // space between glass and end of heat bed glass_overlap = 5; glass_overlap_t = 3; screw_offs_z = 2; // distance from edge of the bed to center of screw screw_offs_y = 2.5; screw_r = 1.5+0.2; // radius + margin screw_head_r = 2+0.5; // radius + margin screw_head_h = 2; Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: It's recommended to print the screw hole perpendicular to the print bed for optimal stability. Designing This Project: I created this design using OpenSCAD, a popular CAD software that allows users to create complex shapes and models with ease.
