Glass Clip aka Binder Clip Replacement

I'm excited to share my solution to a problem that's been frustrating me for a while now - my hotend kept getting stuck in binder clips! So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and design some clips that would replace them entirely. The inspiration for this project came from dTom's TinyBoy Glass Clip, which really sparked something in me. I'm thrilled with the result because this size is absolutely perfect for my setup - a 4mm sheet of glass on top of a 3mm aluminum plate. And the great thing about it is that it will work beautifully for any similar configuration where the total height being retained is exactly 7mm. To bring my design to life, I used ABS plastic with a layer height of 0.3mm at 100mm/s. Here are the print settings I employed: Rafts: Not necessary Supports: No need for them Resolution: Between 0.1 and 0.3 mm - perfect for detail Infill: A range of 20% to 100% works great After printing, you might find that you need to slightly file the inside of the shorter end if it gets a bit too tight.
