Glass clamp and heat bed for Mini Kossel

Glass clamp and heat bed for Mini Kossel

Recently I built a heat bed for my Mini Kossel printer, basing it on a pre-existing project. The heat bed features a top layer of 1mm aluminium, while the other layers were cut from laminate (1mm thick) and 2mm cork. Heat Bed Layers Heat Insulation M3 screws used to mount the bed are insulated in order to prevent heat transfer - from top I printed a PET-G washer (bed_washer.stl), and screw holes, which is 6mm in diameter, are insulated by bowden used for 3mm filament (OD: 6mm ID 4mm). Heat Bed Parts I created also 3D models of bed parts cut from laminate base.stl ring.stl This is what is provided in the pre-existing project but there is no STL format which was useful for me. Glass Clamps On aluminium surface I put a round glass (170mm diameter). After print is finished, I like to take out a glass and then remove printed object. This is very convenient. I designed glass clamps (clamp.stl) which holds tight glass on place it is easy to put and remove glass Note: clamps fits only original Mini Kossel design based on 15x15 OpenBeam profiles.
