Glass carboy stopper clamp

This design is for a spring-loaded clamp that keeps stoppers from popping out of glass carboys used for homebrewed beer, wine, mead, cider, etc. This can occur with some rubber stoppers, particularly if they are wet with Starsan sanitizer. If the stopper falls out, the contents of the carboy can be quickly ruined by oxidation, and insect, rodent, and microbial contamination. These clamps can be made out of almost any filament - I've used PLA, PETG, and ABS successfully. Good layer bonding is needed to prevent the parts from splitting apart during assembly. Invert the upper part in your slicer before printing and no supports will be needed in either print.
