Glass Build Plate Storage rack

Glass Build Plate Storage rack

I recently picked up several (8) glass cutting boards from the dollar store that work extremely well for build plates. To keep them organized and out of sight, I created this holder using some PVC pipe I had on hand, which is exactly what you see here. Print a few of these holders and they will fit snugly around your glass while still allowing for a bit of extra room to prevent excessive movement. The 16mm pipe I bought from my local hardware store has a diameter marked as 1/2" Flowguard gold on the label. To make it easy to customize this design for other pipe sizes, I've included the Solidworks file. Print Settings: Printer: Tevo Taranutla Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Infill: 15-20% Notes: I print this holder using a volcano nozzle, and it takes about 20 minutes per piece with a 1.2mm nozzle at 0.5mm layers.
