These clips let you securely fasten a glass build plate to fit the standard dimensions of your stock build plate on the Flashforge Creator Pro and similar printers. Attach one clip in each corner, tightening them using the corner screws that hold the metal build plate to the heated bed platform (I use wingnuts but results may vary). Your glass will stay securely in place without sliding around, allowing for easy tool-free swapping of build plates between different printing configurations. Some key points: 1. This assumes all your glass plates are the same size and closely match the dimensions of the build plate, but can be slightly larger – never smaller. 2. Fit one corner clip snugly into a metal plate corner, then tighten it down. Install the opposite clip loosely before adding the glass plate. Once in place, adjust the opposite corner for a snug fit and then tighten the final screw securely. You can now easily remove the build plate by lightly prying it with your fingernail, switch to another glass build plate and continue printing in mere seconds. If vibration loosens the wingnuts over time, add washers beneath the corners for added stability and security, coupled with lock washers afterward. When swapping build plates, double-check they stay firmly in place by verifying that they don't shift when you touch them lightly. Tighten any loose screws if necessary. A few might assume that the heated bed platform would cause these clips to melt quickly under printing conditions, but earlier models – although thinner and eventually prone to degradation due to bonding with washers over extensive usage (around 30-40 hours of printing) - functioned correctly until they were replaced with new versions, which show no signs of degradation so far.
