Glass Bed Plate Corner Clamps CR-10
thingiverse
I detest using binder clips! I crafted my glass plate clamps with built-in corners featuring small arms that swing out of the way for easy glass removal. A problem was discovered with the rear right arm hitting the lower X gantry roller when performing an automatic level from the screen menu. To avoid this issue, use the included G-code for leveling: CR10LevellerX.gcode. A huge thank you to Don Stauffer for providing the leveling code basis! You'll need to print four corners (body LF RR twice, all others once) and arms, then cover them in heat-resistant plastic (I used PETG). Be sure to use supports and 60% infill. The TPUtube should be printed with TPU (I prefer Ninjaflex with 50% infill). You'll require four screws: M3 socket head by 16mm minimum, or 20mm for a better fit. Don't forget the M3 nuts! Please note that I designed this for my machine with heat insulation under the bed, so I left some extra space. My glass plate is smaller than the aluminum bed (300mm x 300mm). Feel free to remix this design to suit your needs; just give me credit for the original. If you create it, please share your photos!
