Glass bed lock CTC Bizer
thingiverse
I modified my CTC Bizer with a glass bed. This is what I created to hold the glass securely in place. This solution sits flush with the buildplate and does not obstruct the extruder. It utilizes the four screws that secure the aluminum plate, which are used to keep the plastic locks firmly in place. There's an oval hole for adjusting the lock's position relative to the aluminum plate. The holes allowing the screws to make contact with the glass plate are positioned 3.75 mm from the ledge. So the aluminum can't be thicker than that, or the adjusting screws won't work properly. Hardware: 8 M3 screws (I used 8mm long) 8 M3 nuts Print Settings Printer: CTC Bizer Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 15 % Notes: I set the automatic support in Simplify3D to a resolution of 2 mm, and it added the necessary supports automatically.
