Glass bed corner clips
thingiverse
After numerous failed designs, I've finally created some corner clips that keep a glass bed firmly in place without the clip sitting on top of the glass surface itself in my Monoprice 11614 printer (Flashforge Creator Dual knockoff). This design relies on you inserting an M3 nut into each of the tightening wheels you print. I printed mine out of PETg simply because I like its flexibility and high temperatures it can withstand, but ABS would work, and PLA would probably be okay too, as long as you don't print with a very hot bed temp. I printed mine solid for extra strength - you could probably print it with less plastic, but I haven't tried that yet. I'm currently using 2 of these in opposing corners and they hold the glass perfectly still...no need for 4. You may also want to print out a spacer to re-zero the Z axis sensor...like this http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1332275 In this case, I'm using an 1/8" piece of borosilicate glass (Pyrex). If you're using thicker or thinner glass (neither is recommended), then you'll have to adjust the Z spacer as well as perhaps the thickness of the upper lip of the clip. The gap between the upper lip and the bottom may also have to be modified if your bed isn't approx 8mm thick from the top of the bed to the bottom of the circuit board.
