I'm not sold on clips. They seem like a lackluster solution. Do they really work? Yeah, they're okay, I guess. But they look clunky and awkward. Taking the handles off my clips is such a hassle! And what's worse, when the hotend crashes into them, those pesky clips fly off and hit my dog. It's time to find a better way to keep the glass captive and clean up the print bed. If you're not fond of the 1.45 mm gap under your print bed, just print a mat of the same thickness. My first print didn't go as planned, so I essentially split the part in two. To get a good result, try printing with a raft and using a high infill percentage. Printing it standing up is also easier and makes for a stronger build. Keep in mind that you might not be an expert like me, so your results may vary. I tested the fitment and it seemed okay, but if you're using PLA, consider running the "Shake and Bake" routine - heat it to 100 C for about an hour or so.
