Glass bed clip. Mk2b heated bed

Glass bed clip. Mk2b heated bed

The used i3 clone that I purchased for a very good price printed horribly and had many flaws. One of them being a bow in the pcb heated bed which left a rather large gap between the heater and the glass bed. I also noticed that the bed adjustment screws were threatening to tear out of the pcb. I modified a nice clip that I found on Thingiverse, (link to be added) to fix the issue. The bed clip runs the length of the bed, as well as reinforces the screw holes. It also prevents the Capton tape holding the bed insulation, from peeling off. I no longer remove the glass to clean it. I use methylated spirits and or Windolene / Windex to clean it in place. The spirits removes the hairspray. (This was a good tip from Angus of Makers Muse, Isopropyl alchohol is quite expensive in South Africa and only sold in specialist stores. Th spirit is available from any supermarket.) My printer was not properly dialed in. How I Designed This I used an existing bed clip from Thingiverse. (The link of which I will add when I can find it again), and used Tinkercad to connect them with a strut that spans the length of the 215x215x3mm Mk2b pcb heated bed.
