Glass Bed Clip
thingiverse
I wanted to see if I could source some of the metal (I think made of aluminum?) glass bed clips that came with my Eryone Thinker SE but could not find them anywhere. I hate the binder clips that always come with the various printers to hold their glass beds in place as they always seem to either scratch the bottom of the bed heater or the arms get caught on the something on the side of the printer or the hot end itself. I saw that someone had inquired about trying to source the same bed clips on the Eryone Facebook page itself but apart from suggesting other metal clips or options, nobody could provide any source. So, I decided to try my very basic Tinkercad skills, took the relative measurements from the Thinker SE bed clips and created these. The first set I think I made the bolt hole a bit too small so I made the second version with a slightly bigger bolt hole. Suggested bolt is a short M3 bolt. Surprisingly, when I went to try them on my Geeetech A10M, and the Superplate, these clipped the glass plate on the bed quite nicely without needing the bolts at all and are quite snug so I have gone with them as is. For those that need to make it a bit tighter, just thread an M3 bolt into the hole and make sure not to strip it too much otherwise your bolt won't hold the clip properly. Enjoy! Added Version 3 which nicely fits M4 bolts.
