I've been wearing my old glasses for years, but just recently both arms snapped off near the hinges. I came up with this design, which can be customized to fit any pair of glasses. It gives a sleeker look than the originals and holds the arms securely in place. However, you'll need to use some glue to prevent them from falling apart and losing their flexibility.
