Scotland's 'Aimee' drone conducted a pioneering 3D aerial survey, becoming the country's first CAA-approved fixed-wing UAS permitted to fly in both rural and urban areas. Two visual line-of-sight flights were required to capture this area at an astonishing 3cm resolution. Capturing our world in 3D offers numerous advantages.
