Crafted with precision, this nearly life-sized model boasts full texture detailing and an intricately designed cockpit. Its opening canopy adds a realistic touch, while its animatable ailerons, elevator, and rudder provide dynamic functionality. The downloadable file comes in several formats for convenience. Representing the 15-meter class, the DG-200 sailplane was manufactured by Glaser-Dirks from 1977 onwards; with wingtip extensions added in '78 to create a 17-meter version. Sharing its era with the ASW-20 PIK-29 and Mosquito, a total of 192 DG-200 were constructed. Certain later models featured carbon fiber spars, paving the way for the DG-400 motor glider's development.
