This accurately scaled model features a fully textured design and an intricately detailed cockpit, along with an opening canopy. Animation capabilities include movable ailerons, elevator, and rudder. Two sets of wing tips are included: standard and extra winglet versions. The model boasts all displayed materials and textures. Various downloadable formats are provided for your convenience. The DG-200 is a 15-meter class sailplane manufactured by Glaser-Dirks from 1977, with wingtip extensions added in 1978 to create a 17-meter class version. This glider shares its era with the ASW-20 PIK-29 and Mosquito. A total of 192 DG-200 models were constructed; later ones featured carbon fiber spars. The DG-200 served as the basis for the development of the DG-400 motor glider.
