This accurately scaled model features full texturing and an intricately detailed cockpit. Its opening canopy reveals animateable ailerons, elevator, and rudder. Two sets of wing tips are included: standard and extra winglet options. The model comes with all displayed materials and textures, available in various download formats. The DG-200 is a 15-meter class sailplane manufactured by Glaser-Dirks since 1977. In 1978, wingtip extensions introduced a 17-meter version. Comparable to the ASW-20 PIK-29 and Mosquito, the DG-200 is part of the same generation. A total of 192 were built; later models featured carbon fiber spars. The DG-200 served as the basis for the DG-400 motor glider.
